Show TWO FEDERAL CASES PREARING FOR "Tl! AL. Boise, July 29. A largo force of employes em-ployes are working through the heated heat-ed season in the federal offices, preparing pre-paring for two Importaut cases which are to come before the Unllod States district court at the fall term, the Lewlston National 1-Jink case and tho Great Western Beet & Sugar company com-pany of Mountain Home. The northern Idaho hank case is hinging on a decision for a change of venue from Moscow to Boise, but In -view of tho fact tJiat the three principals, prin-cipals, defendants in the case, having been on trial recently for timber fraud and having secured a change of venue from Boise 1o Moscow, and the Moscow term beclns the early part of next month. It Is expected that the motion will be denied. Tho case of the Great Western Beet Sugar company Is ct for the 10th of October, having been postponed from the June term upon request of tho defendants, who plad Inability to ho prepared by that lime and financial embarrassment. The defendants are men of prominence, being John Car-rett, Car-rett, former president and manager of the company; Howie, former I'nlt-ed I'nlt-ed States commissioner; and Daniels. Dan-iels. Griffith and Colthrop. who were officers in (he land sales department and were engaged In locating entry-men entry-men of the land included In the Great Western project. |
