Show LAND DRAWING AT STONE! BRIGHAMITES ARE LUCKY Brigham.. July 2S. The drawing for the S.OOO-acre tract of land conducted hy the National Bond & Trust company com-pany of Salt Iikc Clly. at Stone. Ida.. yesterday was attended by many of our citizens, some of whom were fortunate for-tunate In securing fine pieces of land. Each party entering was restricted to SO acres, and the price charged was about $40.50 per acre. About three-fourths of the land was entered upon the first day John E. Carlson of Salt Iake City landed tho first draw, and M. B. Ol?on of this city drew No. 4. Tho land secured by Mr. Olson a 40-acre tract is one of tho choicest pieces there. It lies along the county road and adjoins the new townslte. It is said he was offered $1,000 for his chance. Other parties obtaining lnnd from here were Jesse. W. Hooper. William .Teppson, Oleen I N. Stohl, B. O. Jeppson. Irenzo N. i Stohl, Annie C. Nelson, Albert Burt. M. I. Anderson. Charles Ewer, Oliver Wood and Frank Walker. The land Is just over the tato line and adjoins this county. Parties returning from Stone today speak in the highest-terms highest-terms of the new district and Its surroundings. |
