Show STEEL ORDERED FOR NEW ROAD Interurban From Ogden to Brigham City Will Cut Out Pleasant View and Make the Run in One Hour Over the New Road. u ) President David Eccles of the Ogden Ripld Transit company sajs the company com-pany has ordered 1,400 tons of ."0-pound ."0-pound steel rails for the Rrlgham city branch of the company's Interurban road. Mr. Eccles states -that the road by way of Pleasant Mtw will be abandoned, aban-doned, and the route followed will be from Five Points to Harrisville and direct north from IIarrlsllle to the Hot Springs, parallel with the Oregon Ore-gon Short Line tracks. This will save a distance of nearly a mile and will avoid the climbing of the hill at I-'leasant View. "Of rourse," said Mr. Eccles, "this will be done If we can get the rlgli' of way over the contemplated roul-without roul-without trouble. If we can not do tnat. then we will continue th rond where It Is. We want the best Interurban Inter-urban road that can be built to Hrlg-bum Hrlg-bum city, and we desire to place it in such condition and have hucIi equipment as will enable us to make a one-hour schedule between Og.len and the Dox Elder county metropolis.
