Show MOTHER OF BRIGHAM H. ROBERTS IS DEAD Salt. L3ke. Jan. 13 Mrs Ann Ever-inglon Ever-inglon Woolley, mother of Brigham TT. Roberts, died Tuesday evening at her home In Bountiful of general debility, at the aic,c of 83 years. Mrs. Wool-ley Wool-ley passed away peacefully, surrounded surround-ed by her children and relatives, retaining re-taining her faculties nnul the end. The deceased was born In Thorpl-lon. Thorpl-lon. Norfolk. England, December 18, 126. She becamt? a member of tho Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Latter-Day Saints In 1851, and ten years later lat-er came to America, crossing the plains with n company of pioneers he idcd .v Captain Norton Hate. Mrs. Woolley arrived in Utah in October, 102. Mrs. Woolley, locally, was prominent promi-nent in church work from the time she arrived here until a few years ago. For twenty years she was president presi-dent of the East Bountiful primary school, was also identified with tho schools for almost a quarter of a cen-tury. cen-tury. and, with her daughters, was a member of the choir Mrs. Woolley leaves a large number of dliect descendants. Her children, five in number, are- Mrs. Mary Day and Mrs. Ann Wlloy of Bountiful. B. H. Roberts of Cenlenllle, Mrs. Elizabeth Eliza-beth I5.il tlett of Blackfcot, Idaho, and Mrs. Biynina Wiley of Bountiful. She hns forty-four grandchildren and fifty-eighl" great grandchildren living, making a total of lOS descendants. |
