One re-ceived re-ceived this morning by Miss Mary Joyce, a stenographer in the office of Patrick II. O'Donucll. who was Miss Glngles' attorney, read as follows: "Mary: Will be killed at the Welling Well-ing hotel. Please come quick. (Signed) "ELLA." This letter was turned over to Chief Detective O'Brien, who made a hurried hur-ried trip to the hotel. There ho was told by the clerk that Miss Glngles was not in the house. Later he received a second messago stating that Miss Glngles had been killed there. A search disclosed the crime which is believed to have been committed before be-fore daybreak.
