Endoe, a youthful-appearing Jap, was arraigned in, police court this morning charged with disturbing the peace and Quiet of Marie Evans. He Inferred that' his premises had long been considered the proper depository for tomato cans and other rubbish which at times cluttered clut-tered the residence of Mrs. Evans and that his Innumerable protests had been to no avail. He continued that when a full-grown apple core came spinning out of the Evans' kitchen, Thursday, and took him a neat spat behind his deaf ear, It proved the undoing un-doing of his naturally modest temperament temper-ament and peaceful disposition. He denied his ability to get anything through the kitchen window but cuss-words, cuss-words, and stated that the bulk or his bombardment landed harmlessly upon the back porch, from whence it had come. The court decided that Endoe should have complained to an officer ir he had suffered Indignities at the hands of his neighbors, and fined the Jap $10 and costs. . |
