Show LAWYERS OFFER ORATORY PRIZES DALLAS. Texa?. E. L. Saner of I Dallas, chairman of the commltte.; on American Citizenship of the American Amer-ican Bar association. The bureau :is established In order to promote the' I contest, he declared. "Activities of the bureau during the current collejriato year will be to I Conduct oratorical contetsa among! .American law schools to consist of. the public discussion of prescribed I subjects In the fields of American con-i , stlfutlonal government and good citizenship," citi-zenship," he said. "These contests will be organized by Dr E. D. Shurter. who has been! minted one year's leave of absence from th University of Toxoe. Dr I Shutter who Is director general of I the In'crsrholastie League of Amcr- lea, will utilize the league In the In-! I terest of the citizenship bureau." A series of loca'. state. district, bi-district and national contests will be held, open to all undergraduates of any reputable Americal law school Which had a registration of 50 students during the preceding academic year lt Is planned. At least four entrants must participate par-ticipate In a local contest to be held on Lincoln's birthday February 12.
