The score was 32 to 27. Altho the game was prac-tically in the hands of the local boys most of the time, they did not have much edge on the visi-tors. Alias, Greathouse and Siddo way made some remarkable and fast plays for the home team and if the local boys keep up the present lick it is hoped they will be able to trounce the Jordanites in their next game. UTAH COPPER HOOPSTERS WHIP SALT LAKE FIREMEN At the Salt Lake Police Gym-nasium on Saturday last the Utah Copper five defeated the Salt Lake Firemen by a score of 39 to 33. The Utah Copper team demonstrated to the full of their ability, especially Whitley and Williams, who have lost none of the pep of former days. Whitley leading the boys with seven field goals. The Firemen were two points ahead four minutes before the final whistle, but a sudden rally by the "Coppeitonians" gave them four field goals in ra-pid succession.
