Show HOOVER MAY TAKE TRIP ON COLORADO SALT LAKE. April 4. A movement wa-s started here last night to have Herbert C. Hoover and members nf the Colorado River commission Mart nt Greon River and travel by boat tho more navigable parts of tho river to the next meeting place of the commission com-mission at tho north rim of tho ran-I ran-I yon to convince the commission that there is little chance of llo river ever becoming dry whore It crosses tho Utah-Arizona line. It is understood that tho movement Is being fostered bv Governor Mabey and R. E. Caldwell who returned yesterday from the conference held at Denver. Colo. At tho clone of tho series of hearings hear-ings which have boon held throughout through-out the extensive basin of tho Colorado, Colo-rado, tho commission decided not to reach any decision on the terms of a pact between Ihe state, involving the waters of the Colorado at once, but to defer such action until a meeting to bo held possibly in August. In tho meantime thoy will have e&cfa a chance to assemble further informa- ' lion on the matter of the water sup- I ply of the Colorado and the various ussa to which it may be put, and to 1 atudy the viewpoint of the various! states, as brought out at the hearing The next meeting, according to arrangements, ar-rangements, im to bo called by Chair- I man Hoover early In August, and will I be held at somo eonvenlent point In ihe west.
