Show Sheriff's Speed Cop Now on Job; Theobald Named Speeders watch your step or rather, your speedometer. This noon the red motorcycle of the sheriff's department was taken tak-en from winter storage, shined up and straddled by George Theobald who this morning was appointed motorcycle deputy on county roads by lh board of county commissioners. The recommendation recommenda-tion for Mr. Theobald's appointment appoint-ment was made by Sheriff Richard Rich-ard Plncock From now on. during t lie dimmer dim-mer months, all county highways will be patroled by the officer and speedsters and traffic violators viola-tors will be haled In to face the Judge. The county motorcycle Is guaranteed by the manufacturers manufactur-ers to attain a speed of 80 miles an hour, so there is very little chance of speeders out distancing it Particular attention will be paid to speeding and traffic violations in Offden Canyon during the summer sum-mer months, it Is said.
