Matthews testified that he acted as dealer for the Lexington company in 1 I Salt Lake, when Mr. Goddard purchased pur-chased the car. Numerous letters and telegrams, which were said to have' t passed between Matthews and the ; Lexington factory were the cause rff 1 I hours of argument yesterday and to-I to-I day, between counsel for both parties) in regard to their admissibility as ex-I ex-I hlbits. The long legal battles have consumed a large portion of the court sessons and caused the case to drag. It is now estimated the case will not bo completed until early next week.
