One was the system I of civil government under which the v .ik w : protected against the strong and justice was administered to all Another thing of perhaps greater importance im-portance was the law's of God. The laws of God he said do not control the actions of men except they yield in obedience Civil laws compel obedience obedi-ence but the laws of God teaches obedience obe-dience by our own will and not through compulsion. The priesthood is for service and to God and the slate are very closely associated together. President ivins said. They I traveled but 250 miles, were all of one j nation and spoke the same language. Modern Israel was taken from the old I home and brought to a strange land I thousands of miles distant A land tha; was barren and waste, and the people lrom all nations and spoke different languages He thought of the two miracles that of gathering modern j Israel waa the greater.
