Show WOMAN DIES AFTER ATTACK ON DESERT LOS ANGELES July 13. County authorities here began the investigation investi-gation yesterday of circumstances surrounding the death of Mrs Frances Fran-ces E Pryor a wealthy ranch owner, who formerly lived In Salt Lake The woman died several days ago at the home of Mrs. B, M I'.rUK In South 1'as.idena, where she was taken after being found beaten and exhausted on the desert some distance from Lan-i Lan-i aster. Before she died Mrs. Pryor made a statement In which she declared sho j had been beaten and forced to flee her home by a man who, she cl.timc- I, attempted to force her to sign away her properly Escaping from the man.
