Applicants who have completed satisfactory sat-isfactory course:: In the subjects named will be exempt from exam-i fnafions under the following conditions: condi-tions: For first, second and third grades only, college or normal school courses above high school grade will be accepted. ac-cepted. For fourth, fifth and sixth grades only advanced courses taken in the third year of high school or later will be accepted The completion of other courses in English or mathematics mathe-matics does not exempt the applicant from examination In grammar or arithmetic. For seventh, eighth, ninth tenth and eleventh grades, high school or college col-lege subjects will be accepted Sociology, Sociol-ogy, economics or history' other than United States history may be substituted substi-tuted for civics, and other science work may be substituted, for biology. In a statement today. Superintendent Superintend-ent Fowler said that it Is expected that very few will take the examination because be-cause most of the county teachers take work in summer school or by extension exten-sion courses to satisfy requirement for teaching. |
