Show LAWN PARTY GREN AT R. B. PORTER HOME A delightful lawn party was given last week at tho home of Mrs. R. B. Porter, 800 Washington avenue, under un-der the auspices of the Eighth ward Mutuals. Colored electric lights illuminated il-luminated tho spacious lawns and I grounds. A program was given on the back lawn, Chorus by the Mutual Improvement Improve-ment girls, dance Misse3 Jane Taylor and Norma Jensen; Flag Raising by the Boy Scouts; duet. Alberta and Martha Wilson. solo dance. Miss Mable McGregor, and a reading by Mr Chllde Punch was served in the rose bower bow-er to 200 persons. Games, dancing and aatlvitles were enjoyed on the front lawn. The honor guests were Mrs. Emily ModdOCk, Mrs. Shupe and Aaron Tracy, members of tho stake board. |
