The body of Anna Richey, the only woman ever convicted of cattle rustling In this state, was found yesterday at th side of an Irrigation ditch on her ranch 12 miles north of Kcmmerer. An autopsy will be performed on Mrs Richey to determine whether or not strychnine was the cause of death Mrs. Kiehey was indicted for catth rustling about two years ago. and. while on her way to this city to plead to the Indictment, she was shot In the arm by a masked man. who stopped her on the road and swore at her. Mrs. Rlehey'l father, v. ho was a wealthy man. spent a large sum lu her defence on tho cattle-rustling r)iar$r-. but she. was convicted In th3 lower court and the supreme court recently affirmed the judgment.
