Show WATERWORKS NETS $76,000 That tho municipal operation of th city waterworks department netted earnings of $76,243 20 during 1921, is shown In the annual report of that department submitted yesterday by A. T. Corey, assistant superintendent cf the department to the city commissioners. commis-sioners. Tho report sets forth that if the a terworks department had been owned by a private corporation during dur-ing the last year, the city would have had to pay a total of $88j40t.l8 for main extensions during the year included 20.919 feet of two-inch pipe and S.647 feet of six-Inch Pipe-Two Pipe-Two additional fire hydrants wen- in- stalled, bringing the total in the city to 196. There were 461 new service lines connected during the last twelve months. |
