Show SCIENCE CHURCH EDITORS CHOSEN W. J. Abbot Heads Daily and A. T. Gilmore the Monthly Publications BOSTON. Jau. 20. Directors of the First Church ot Christ, Scientist, an-nouueed an-nouueed Sunday that acting under the manual of the Christian Science church they had elected Willis J. Abbot Ab-bot and Albert Field Gilmore, both of New York, editors of the Christian Science publications and that the newly appoint ed trustees of the Christian Chris-tian Science Publishing society had 1 accented the elections. Mr Abbot was chosen editor of the ! Christian Science Monitor, a daily, j and Mr. Gilmore, editor of the monthly publicans i the Christian Science Jour- j nai Christian Science Sentinel Lchr-aut Lchr-aut (French), and Dei- Harold (Ger man ) Mr Abbot is a native of New Haven,' Conn., studied at the University of I Michigan and has been actively con-i con-i nected with newspapers in Chicago, New York and Battle Creek. Ss li the author of numerous books and a member of the Mother church. Mr. Gilmore was bom in Turner, Me. ! He is a member of the board of over Been of Bates college nud an author and lecturer on nature subjects. He , is a member of the First Church of Christ, Scientist, of Brooklyn. |
