Kild Weather Helps Livestock Grazing Mild weather and tho thawing of snow has been favorable for livestock throughout the state, according to a report issued by Cecil Alter, state meteorologist The report follows: " Milder weather, with many clearl days in the middle and southern coun-j ties and some rain and snow in the' northern portion, has been favorable for livestock and most outdoor actlvi-1 tie."' in spite of the rapid disappearance disappear-ance of the snow layer during the week, moisture remains ample over the livestock ranges excepting in th-Modena th-Modena district. Forage and livestock are in good condition! and the winter wheat is doing well. Stock Is dolus well in Tooele and Hush valleys and th pastures and ranges axo in good condition .Stock has to be driven' to wuter around Modena, though the. range continues good; the winter grain! is also in good shape. It has been, colder at Price and the snow is hanging hang-ing on well; cattle, horses and goats j feeding on the foothills and flats are doing well. The snow has practically! disappeared at Kniery and stock lsi being fed."
