A.. Weed and company, and the Schulz- Hj bach company, -Buffalo. N. Y., cloth-, iers. Arguments in the hearing were concluded this afternoon. Attorney II, S. .Mitchell, special assistant to the attorney general, in his final argu-mnt argu-mnt said that to grant the iniunc-tion would hamper investigation into nl- f ieged profiteering and tie the hands of the district attorneys throughout iheJpountry. Attorney Simon Fllchman of Bvif- Hj falo, counsel for the defendant com- pantos, p.rgued that tho Lover act is unconstitutional and cited a number of court rulings. He declared that tho Jurists are about evenly divided in their opinions over the constitution -allty of the Lever act and that there-fore, there-fore, it validity is in doubt. |
