HERE ON FIRST LEG ; OF JOURNEY TO IDAHO & Led by a band and a welcoming committee com-mittee of Ogden automobile dealers, fifty Salt Lake automobile dealers and truck distributors, riding .in twenty-five twenty-five fully loaded "trucks, reached Ogden Og-den early this afternoon on the first leg of their journey to Boise, Idaho. The convoy is making the overland trip in connection with the "ship by! truck" and "good roads" idea which Is now being fostered throughout the United States by tours by truck and celebrations. McConnell, of the Pacific-Nash com- I pany, Ogden. branch, met the truck convoy at Itiverdale and escorted the Salt Lakers to the city. Many Ogden business men and motorists also met the train at Riverdale. , A meeting will be held tonight at S o'clock in the Weber club at which speakers who accompanied the dealers deal-ers will outline the aims and purposes pur-poses of the tour and will speak on the "ship by truck" and "good roads" movement. Other features arranged by the Ogden dealers will be included u,pon the program during the meeting. : Remain Overnight. 1 The deal6rs will remain in Ogden ; overnight and will leave earlv tomor- -irow morning for Logan, the next stop ' lf of the tour.
