As a reward Edna marries Luiher despite Martin's Objecl ions. Luiher collapses la his attempt to reach the treasure. Edna deserts him. Martin traces the girl to Boston, bundles her onto Ihe steamer, and starts back with her Arnold secretly follows on the same boat The steam or Is wrecked and Arnold and Erini arc drowned together.
