Show POCATELLO OFFICIAL SUCCUMBS ON PICNIC POCATEEL.O. Ida., July 5. Councilman Coun-cilman John Hill, while on a picnic party yesterday afternoon, died sud-detlly sud-detlly of heart failure. Mr. Mill was taken with the uttack at Mink creek, about ten miles from the city. Mi Hill and family left town Sunday Sun-day morning and this morning Joined another party for a picnic In the party wefc the members of the Tom Kellow family and the Garnet Kimball family. Mr. Hill complained of not feeling wi II rind drunlv a cup of coffee this morning. Camp was broken and Mr. Hill took his place at the wheel. Af-tei Af-tei the machine was cranked he fell over the wheel of the car and It was supposed lo- had fainted. Tom Kellow Kel-low rushed forward with water and It was not discovered that Mr. Hill was dead until he wus removed from the car. Mrs. Hill Is prolruted from the shock and Is at Lynn Brothers' hospital. Mr Mill had resided in Pocatello for ten years and was an officer In the teamsters' union. Besides his widow and daughter, Mrs. Mary Cutler, he is survived by five stepchildren. The death of Mr. Hill Is the third to occur in the membership of the present council. Duvid Car was killed III a railroad wreck at Yale shortly alter the election and Michael Mullen died here during the winter. |
