( ox received the news of his nomination in his newspaper office, the Dayton News surrounded by fellow fel-low nswspaper workers and s few relatives Blld intimate friends. When the Associated I' ress w'ircn flashed the news of his nomination his first act was to cross the room and kiss his wife.
