The meeting will also liavo for consideration con-sideration the. giving of a Guild party In (ho near future. , The hostess will entertain the members mem-bers during the social period and light refreshments will be served. - .( I PRESBYTERIAN LADIES AID A new feature will be introduced Tuesday at the March social given by the Ladies' Aid society of the Presby terian church. It is the regular March meeting of the organization aniL after the usual business and social hour there will be offered a number of staple sta-ple and fancy pastries. This idea !s the result of the desir on the part of many of the ladies to haw some of the newer as well a.s the belter of the older recipes demon strated. The pastry and staple articles arti-cles will be the results of the faQrfte recipes of those who have made them nnrl the recipe will be given if desired. The bus)ncss portion of the afternoon after-noon has several items or interest ami there have been prepared a program of Interest for the social hour. SERVICE STAR LEGION SPONSOR. I M CL DUftTflDI A f The Service Star Legion of the city is sponsoring the photoplay, "The Copperhead," Cop-perhead," which is being shown at one of the local theatves this week, and the organization which is composed of the nearest women relatives of ex-service men, is to receive a percentage of the receipts. Lionel Barrymore, one of America's greatest actors essays the leading role in the play. j FAREWELL PARTY IS SURPRISE 1 Miss Rose Drake entertained last (Thursday evening in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Lon Ferrin. The party was given at the Ferrin homo in Lover's Lane. North Ogden, and was planned as a farewell for Mr. and Mrs. Ferrin, who are to leave Ogden soon. The evening was pleasantly spent in playing cards nnd enjoying "musical , selections. Mr, J. W. Baggs of the; boutliern Pacific band gave a number of violin selections, Mrs. Baggs accompanying accom-panying at the piano. A number of Victrola records, piano selections by Mrs. Ferrin and a comic sketch in cos-Itumo cos-Itumo by Rose Drnke, comploted a program pro-gram of unusual entertainment. At a late, hour a delicious lunch was served in the dining room. The table decorations wore in pink and white, a vase of carnations and a stand designed de-signed of fruit cako and topped with a saucy kowpio from which streamers of dainty ribbons with red hearts attached, at-tached, radiated to each guest's plate, were arranged in tho center of the table. Individual cakes and Ice cream wero served.
