Show LADIES BAND WILL RECEIVE AID OF MERCHANTS Tho Merchants of Ocden have en-doraed en-doraed the movement to purchase new uniforms tot the Ladles' Band ot "gden and the following letter has been issued to the band workers lor use when seeking subscriptions: "The bearer of this letter Is an accredited member of the Ocden Ladles' band. VYc have ber-n requested to render the Ladies' band of Ogden the sup-pnrt sup-pnrt of the Merchants of Ogden association as-sociation in a campaign now being commenced for the raising of a fund to provide uniforms for its members The uniforms now being worn were provided in the first place by the musicians mu-sicians themselves two years ago, and are In such condition as to make' new ones imperative. "We believe the Ladies' band of Ogden Og-den is the only body of its kind In the state or Utah, and have reason to feel proud that we have in our midst -in organization which has for iL purpose pur-pose the entertainment of Ogden's citizens. have been pleaBed to call upon our Ladies" band on several j occasions to aid in the reception by In city ot certain distinguished visit ors, I. e, President Woodrow WilsOU and Hicir majesties, the King and Queen of Belgium, to mention our most recent vislim.
