This Is the first and great command ' iment nd the Becond Is like unto i' Thou shalt love thy neighbor as th) J self on th'-se two commandments I bang all the law and the propht Matt. 22:37-40. , The Ten Commandments are divided di-vided into two sections The first four relate to man's duty to God and the other six to his fellow men. As our Creator, Preserver and Redeemer, Re-deemer, God demands the first place In our hearts He said unto the ehll-dren ehll-dren of Israel, "I, the Lord thy God, am a Jealous God " Ex 20 5 He likens himself unto a husband, "For' thy Maker Is thine husband " I?a. 54:6.
