January 5, 1919, will bo tho opening day for services In the forty-threo forty-threo Mormon meeting houses of tho city of Ogden, according to tho decision deci-sion reached at a joint conference of tho Weber, North Weber and Ogden stakes held last ovening. If in any ward, tho conditions have not sufficiently improved to warrant opening on that day, tho bishopric Is authorized to defer the resumption of public meetings, just as they would ordinarily do under stress of any epidemic epi-demic confined to their ward. This announcement was made last ovening by the presidencies. The general stake, local board and j priesthood meetings will resume their j sessions at the usual rH'" foiiowinc tho opening of tho various meeting house son January 5. The action taken by the presidencies presiden-cies extends the church closing rules as affecting Mormon churches, as a voluntary regulation to provont any spread of influenza, the extension being be-ing nearly three weeks boyond the date of the ban being officially lifted by Ogden city. |
