PLEASANT, Dec. 19-r-Mrs. Jacob Ja-cob Hafen, Sr., received a telegram . from the war depa- 'W- forming her that her son, Jacob 11a-fen, 11a-fen, Jr., died of pneumonia in France, October G. Mr. Hafen, vio yeas 'i'l years of age, went to Camp Lewis for training in, April, 1918. and was sent overseas -in July. Ho had been fighting at front if. the time he was stricken with the disease which caused his death. In addition to his mother, Mr. Hafen Ha-fen Is survived by a widow and an eleven-days-old baby, three brothers and seven sisters. |
