Show ELKS CELEBRATE FBI OLD TIMERS Tho committee on arrangements for the coming celebration have decided j definitely on plans for the entertainment entertain-ment of their brothers on next Sat-1 urday night, January 16, when all! Elkdom will celebrate the fiftieth anniversary an-niversary of its inception. It has been customary in the past to hold what Is called an "Old-timers" night a night given over to tho past exalted rulers of 'the lodge, who fill) all the chairs and make all tho fun. This usually falls some time in January Jan-uary or 'February and tho anniversary, anniver-sary, coming along at this tlmo, makes it really a pleasure for the past rulers to hold their annual meeting meet-ing at this time. Several very fino speakers have been engaged for tho evening as well as instrumental music and a local male quartette. Several very good acts on the Pantnge3 bill this week are going to he the guests of the lodge I after 11 o'clock. These features along with what the "Old-timers" have up their sleeves and a dandy buffet lunch, will probably fill the lodge room to overflowing. All members are going to be welcome wel-come and the guests of the "Old-timers." "Old-timers." John Culley is going to fill the'bffice of exalted ruler and will be assisted by George Glen, A. T. Hestmark, W. D. Brown, Col. C. A. Boyd, W. D. Zeller, A. C. Horn and other well known old timers. oo |
