Show NEVADA MS BEING ARMED i RENO. Nev.. April 10 State police and special agents of the government are being sent into eastern Nevada, where Piuie. Gosbute and Shoshone In ! dlans have been supplied with arms and poison and advised to attack thej Indian agent and white settlers. A gathering of Indians near Pioche. Nev.. a few days ago led lo an iBTeetlcetlofl which revealed the plot. Aecording to statements made by loyal Indians the arms and poison were supplied by a white man whose identity has not been discovered. According fo agents of the department of justice, tbll oper ation extended over several miles of territory, extending from Pioche and I Elko, Nev . nnd reaching as far ea.st as Deep Creek. Utah. As the Indians j have been peaceable for many years. the authorities believe no serious trou-) trou-) ble will resuli. although considerable excitement prevails in several of the Indian camps. Only a short time ago there was an uprising among the Indians on the Onshute reservation near Deep Creek.
