Mr. McKay declared it is a criminal waste of time to spend three or four weeks in building up enthusiasm among the farmers of the county lo purchase bonds, and that the campaign for this loan would be short and decisive. deci-sive. Meetings will be held in each 'county district prior to the opening of j the loan campaign on September 2S. I and all farmers will be urged to buy J their bonds on that one day so they Wilf not need to lose valuable time. I The county liberty loan committee will meet Friday, ready to accept subscriptions, sub-scriptions, and all who do not announce an-nounce themselves as subscribers at that time, are expected to do so on the following day. Mr. McKay's Plans. Mr. McKay in speaking of the proposed pro-posed plans for this loan said: "Our division of the fourth loan campaign committee, has declared for Saturday, September 28, as the day for the farmers of Utah to subscribe to their full financial capacity for the bonds. We have known, and so lias everybody else, ever since last May that we would have to meet this loan and there is no reason in the world I way the allotments for the agricultural agricultur-al districts of Utah cannot be fully subscribed in one day.1' "It seems entirely out of harmony with the nation-wide campaign for conservation con-servation of lime and energy to spend from one to three weeks working up enthusiasm among the people to buy Liberty bends. Every American should possess this enthusiasm and with it a willingness to stake his all, win or lose, on the nation's war program. This loan must bo subscribed and no farmer has any time to lose at this time of year from his farm -work. "The local members of the county Liberty loan committee, therefore, will be invited to attend the meetings that are to be held Friday night, ready to accept subscriptions and all who do not subscribe then, will be urged to do so on the following day, voluntarily. voluntar-ily. It is within the realm of possibility possibil-ity for the agricultural districts of Weber county, and every other county in the state, for that matter, to 'go over the top" next Saturday and it is our hope and expectation that I his will be done." ' Each county agricultural agent in Utah has been appointed a special committeeman to assist in spreading the Liberty loan propaganda among the farmers and it is expected this organization or-ganization will do much toward bringing bring-ing the campaign lo an early and successful suc-cessful close, rhc agents were appointed ap-pointed by President McKay by telegraph tele-graph yesterday t;s follows: Beaver county Hans Christiansen.
