Show IMS GIVEN FOR TOBACCO PACKAGES Sincere thanks for tobacco gifts sent to soldiers by the Standard, through tho generous response of local citizens citi-zens and others to the Standard Tobacco To-bacco fund, is contained In a set of cards received today in the mail from France. By a rare coincidence one of the cards was written by an Ogden boy, Cyril Jenkins, a member of Company Com-pany F, 168th infantry. He says: "Dear Friend: I sure was glad to receive re-ceive some tobacco from you and thank you many times. I know the Ogden Og-den people are trying to do their part as I am an Ogden boy. I have lived in Ogden for some time. My home is at 2S57 Hudson avenue. There arc seven of us from Weber county, I am the only one from Ogden City. I have been over nearly a year. I sure have had some experience at the front. I have had some narrow escapes. I have gone through some of the most dangerous barrages that the Germans ever put over but they haven't got me ycL Your friend, "CYRIL JENKINS."
