A discussion of plans to regulate the participation of tho Ogden Clearing House association In the coming fourth liberty loan campaign was held thJs morning at a meeting of the association associa-tion in the Weber Club. A decision was reached that the subscription card used during the last loan be accepted ac-cepted for this loan. This card, when filled out, gives a comprehensive and accurate record of the fubscriber's liberty loan ousiness ami is of standard form and sue .so thai the records of tho entire campaign cam-paign may easily be tabulated and kept on it. The card explains tho three payment pay-ment plan. Subscribers may adopt the "government plan" and buy bonds by paying 10 per cent of the cost price on purchase, 20 per cent on November 21. 191S; 20 per cent on Decomber 19, 191S; 20 per cent on January 16, 1919 and 30 per cent plus accrued Interest on January 30, 1919. Plans Offored The subscriber may pay the entire amount at once, if ho desires and the notation will be made to this effect. The subscriber may adopt tho bank nLtn of nurchasc for bonds amount to not more than $500. This plan re-qulies re-qulies a payment of $5.75 on application applica-tion for $50 bonds and the $45 balance in six monthly payments of $7.50 each. It is expected this will bo the popular time payment plan. The rate of pav-mont pav-mont for bonds over $50 increases, according ac-cording to the sizo of the bond. The initial payment of $5.75 includes the interest on deferred payments. The government plan requires tho payment of accrued interest when the last installment in-stallment Is paid. Confer on County A committeo was named at tho meeting to confer with A. G. Fell, chairman of tho county committeo, and doierminc tho apportionment for Weber We-ber County districts. The same committees were reappointed reap-pointed for the city districts which worked in the last campaign. This organization Is now experienced and satislactory results are expected from the start of tho campaign. Officers of tho loan organization expect ex-pect tho fourth loan will bo subscribed subscrib-ed within a comparatively short time. Tho feeling Is general that subscriptions subscrip-tions ought to bo in within the first few days and that those who procrastinate procras-tinate will be slackors as much valuable valua-ble time will be needed to round up these subscribers. |
