uu British Patrols Through' Warneton WITH THE BRITISH ARMY IN FLANDERS, Oct. 1. (By tho Associated Asso-ciated Press.) Strong Brltis,h patrols have fought their way through the town of Warneton, on the Lys river, between Armentleres and Menln, and also have gone through La Basseevllle and St. Peters. The Germans today continued to fight as desperately as before, but every hour sees the menace to their Belgian coast positions around Os-tend Os-tend increased. At the same time the British and Belgians are drawing closer lo Bruges.
