A number of carpenters have enrolled en-rolled in Ogden for the shipbuilding service, and Mr. Clise expects to examine ex-amine them in the near future with a view to sending them to the yards at Seattle. The plan at present Is to send the carpenters to Seattle from Ogden and Salt Lake about April 22. Employment Examiner Beckett desires de-sires all applicants for employment to register at the local office, at the corner of Wall avenue and Twenty-fourth Twenty-fourth street. At the present time he desires to have farm laborers register without delay, as there are many good openings open-ings for this class of work. The office windows are being lettered, let-tered, authority having been received from Washington for the work. oo |
