Show oo EMMONS FOR MIDSHIPMEI AT HPCLIS Two young men started lo take the examination for midshipmen to the naval college at Annapolis tli W morning, morn-ing, at the Federal building. The two young men who aspire to he future admirals ad-mirals are Waller Browning, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Browning of Ogden, and Walter Roche of Brigham City. They were given the geometry tests by W. H. Johnson, secretary of the local civil service commission. The examination will last for three days. This examination is perhaps the most rigid of any of the civil service and the percentage of successful applicants ap-plicants is very limited. Those who i are passed in the examination are in line for a life career that is the source of envy of the young men. oo |
