Show FOOTBALL GAME IS 01 tuic flCTCDmnnm MIIU HI ILIIIUUUSU ATGLEiHOD Red and Black rooters from the West Side district of Salt Lake came to Ogden shortly after noon today to help their football team in its game with Ogden high school this afternoon. after-noon. A special train carried about 200 of the lusty enthusiasts to Ogden. Og-den. Meantime the members of the football team were taken to the high school and made acquainted with the local boys. The game at Glenwood is the first of the season for the Ogden boys al-though al-though the West Side aggregation has met several teams, among them Payson. an out of the Ip.ijtup tpam which trimmed the Salt Lakers 97 to 0. Both of the teams are pretty evenly even-ly matched. The coaches, Duff for Ogden and Richardson for Salt Lake, have largely had new material to whip into shape for a team. Many of the last year's stars of both elevens have graduated or joined some branch of the military service. The West Side team has five old men in the lineup while Ogden has four. Coach Duff and Dr. R. Kanzler have been working steadily with the boys and believe they have a winning organization. or-ganization. , Because Ogden yet is almost an unknown quantity, predictions concerning con-cerning the game have been pretty well guarded. Every one, however, expects a close game and a hard one. "Dog" Douglas, star tackle of the university, an Ogden man, will referee refe-ree the game, while Tommy Fitzpat-rick, Fitzpat-rick, coach of the East Side Salt Lake team, will act as umpire.
