A bill to authorize tho postmaster general to j negotiate tho purchase of telephone) ! systems now under government con-' con-' trol and providing for a survey of tel-.cgraph tel-.cgraph properties, was introduced in tho house today by Chairman Moon, of the postoffice committee, who said Postmaster General Burleson had informed in-formed him the president approved the measure. Mr. Moon said he drafted the bill in i consultation with Mr. Burleson. He I declined to comment further but said ithat he would discuss the resolution I on the floor of the house during consideration con-sideration of the postoftice appropriation, appropria-tion, probably tomorrow. |
