Show Society PARRY-GOODMAN. A prettv wedding of yesterday occurred occur-red at the boron of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Parry, 2561 Binford avenue, at 2 30 o'clock, when Miss Meda Parry became the bride of Robert Goodman, the ceremony being performed by the Reverend J. E. Carver. The bride was gowned in an exquisite dress of gold color and carried a shower bouquet of violets and orange blossoms. At the conclusion of the ceremony a delicious de-licious wedding repast was served, only immediate relatives being present. pres-ent. The groom's sister from St. Louis, Mrs. Ernest Erwin, was present. pres-ent. Mr and Mrs. Goodman have departed depart-ed on a wedding trip to California and will be at home to their friends in Ogden after March 1. HOME INDUSTRY CLUB. The Home Industry club will hold its next meeting at the home of Mrs S. M. Kershaw, 2934 Adams avenue, next Tuesday at 2 30 o'clock. DR. WHERRY HOME. Dr. S. W. Wherry has returned to Ogden after a five-weeks' stay in Chicago Chi-cago and Milwaukee, where he took post-graduate work MIZPAH CLUB. Miss Marjorie Browning will be hostess hos-tess to tho Mizpah club on next Thursday Thurs-day evening at her home on Adams avenue. MASONIC CLUB. The second dance of the series to be given by the Masonic club will be held at the K of P. hall on Tuesday evening. March 20th. YOUNG MATRONS' CLUB Miss Zell Davenport was hostess to the Young Matrons' club at her home, 2667 Madison avenue, on Wednesday afternoon. Needlework pleasantly occupied the afternoon hours and at 6 o'clock a tempting luncheon was served in the dining room, where a color scheme in yellow was prettily carried out. The club adjourned to meet next with Mrs. Edwin Bader at her home, 2234 Lincoln avenue. MEET ON FRIDAY The Women's Missionary society of the First Presbyterian church will meet Friday afternoon with Mrs. Leon Andrews at her residence at 9S5 Twenty fourth street. AT LORIN FARR SCHOOL The teachers at the Lorin Fan-school Fan-school vent hostesses at a delightful Red Cross affair on Tnr:sday afternoon after-noon at the school. Splendid talks, explanatory of the Red C ross work, were given and luncheon was served |
