At tho mass nirotinp of citizens of Osden last rvoninp. the foundation was laid for an organization which should have a very big Influence for good on the future of Osdcn. The association olfr-rs to the home owners, taxpayers, citizens of ORden a voico in the affairs of the city which will command attention. A church is the banding together of peopl'' of me religious belief The moral power is intensified by numbers. num-bers. The workers loan on each other and are .sustained in their efforts b the unity of spiritual uplift. Each individual in-dividual may be weak, but the combined com-bined forward movement Is mighty. So with this citizens' movement. While no one in the organization may have a commanding place in the community, com-munity, ihe association itself can become be-come most powerful in defense of the rights of the plain people. The association should grow until it embraces every wide-awake citizen. Tr t, in Oden, then Weber rounty; then other counties; and, finally, in the State of Utah. The purpose is to direct public activities ac-tivities along right lines, while serving serv-ing as the eyes and voice of a progressive pro-gressive people. |
