Show NOTICE OF MEETING OF STOCKHOLDERS STOCK-HOLDERS OF THE OGDEN PACKING PACK-ING AND PROVISION COMPANY COM-PANY Notice is hereby given that a meeting meet-ing of the Stockholders of the Ogden Tacking and Provision Company a Corporation, will be held at tho office of baid Company on Twenty-fourth1 Street, in ugden, Utah, on Saturday the 24th day of March, 1917 at the hour of 10 o'clock a. m., for the purpose pur-pose of amending the Articles of Incorporation In-corporation of said Company. The nature of the proposed changes or amendments is as follows: 1. To amend Article Five, relatin- LEGAL NOTICES to the objet - . i which this I . is formed, by increasing the objects and powers of this Corporation in tfl following general particulars: To permit this Corporation to earn on a general cattle, livestock, agricultural agricul-tural and meat pricking bu?lnc!i3 n all branches of said respective trades f or businesses; to permit, ibis Corpora- f tion to manufacture ;iml deal in i e; a preserve in cold storage and oporato ! cold storago warehouses; to manufao ture, prepare, sell, import aud export food and food products of every class and description; to manufacture, prepare pre-pare and deal in all receptacles and packages for products handled by thia Corporation; to maintain and operate cold storage and refrigerating plants; ' and do a general warehouse and storage stor-age business, and to issu warehouse receipts; to own, lease and operate n frigerator cars and steam, sailing and other vessels; to obtain and turn to account patents, trade marks and trade names, and the like; to purchase and hold its own capital stock; to lend and advance money and give credit lo persons per-sons and corporations having dealines with the Coiupan ; to acquire sicck, bonds oi obligations of Corporations formed lor or engaged in any similar kind of business in which this Corporation is engaged; en-gaged; to guarantee payments of dividends divi-dends or interest on obligations of such corporations; to aid in any man ner any Corporation whose stocks, bonds, or Other obligations are held, I or in any manner guaranteed by this ! Corporation, to conduct its business in j Uher States, in the Territories, and in 1 ioreign countries, and have more than one office; to issue bonds, or other obligations in payment oi property purchased pur-chased or acquired by !t, or for any object in or about its business; to mortgage or pledge any stock, bonus, or any other obligation or any property prop-erty owned by It; to secure any bonds or other obligations by it issued or incurred, in-curred, to make and perform contracts of any kind or description; and to exercise ex-ercise any and all powers which a copartnership co-partnership or natural person could do and exercise. 2. To amend Article Seven by increasing in-creasing the Capital Stock of this Corporation Cor-poration from One Million ($1,000,000) Dollars divided into Ten Thousand (10,000) shares of the par value of One Hundred ($lo0) Dollars each, to Two Million ($2,000,000) Dollars, divided divid-ed into Twenty Thousand (20.0UU) shares of the par value ot One Hundred Hun-dred ($100) Dollars each.
