Show BEEN SELECTED TO ME OGDEN QUOTA IN NEW ARMY Twenty-seven registrants of Ogden City's quota of thirty-two for the new army wero certified to the district board by tho local board today. But five more men are needed to fill the quota, but fifty more will be examined exam-ined so that the 10 per cent surplus will bo filled. Sixteen claims for exemption ex-emption wero allowed on the grounds of dependents and resident aliens. Among the men selected by the board are Heber Scowcroft Jr. and George Lowe Abbott, both sons of prominent Ogden families. The county board has been busy all day considering exemption claims, but will not have a completo list to announce an-nounce until late this afternoon, as the registrants have until that time to file claims for exemption. The men who were selected by the city board and whose names have been certified to the district board are are following: Louis Rassie, Jefferson Kelsey Scott, James Henry Hawkins, Heber Scowcroft Scow-croft Jr., Charles L. Mattson, Georgo James Woodp George Charles Fowers, Holley Bcgley, James Thomas White and George Andrew Bergstrom. nn to provide for her for a period of five years, just passed, during which time she was compelled to rely on tho charity char-ity of friends, and that he forced her to work to buy clothes and food for herself. She further alleges that he Is worth at least $5,000 and that she is in indigent circumstances. The defendant makes affidavit that she is impecunious and asks the court to mako DufT.n pay tho costs of suit, and render such other aid as it sees fit. in addition to making an equitable distribution of the property. |
