Show JUNIOR ANTICS. The Juniors! Ah, how familiar those words sound. You hear them everywhere you go. Even a freshman can tell you why the Juniors are well i known and talked of so much. At the beginning of this year they were well, to be frank with you rather dead, but they have awakened to the fact that this is their most important year in school. At the first meeting the following officers were elected: Marjory Thomas, Thom-as, president, Irma O'Neill, vice pres ident, Merlo Thurman, secretary and treasurer. The Juniors brok-? the ice by Riving a candy sale whose sweetness was not Ioiir drawn out. on November 4 the Juniors again came into the limelight and gave a party :it the Monroe cottage in Ogden canyon Everyone agreed that he had had a most "scrumptious" time. Next the Juniors gave a sandwich and cake sale and everything sold was delicious. On February 15 Miss Thomas gave a dance in the Maids and Matrons and Royal halls Even thing was lovely. Refreshments were delicious and programs pro-grams were attractive in fact, the whole affair was a delightful succesH If you think the Juniors do not know how to work attend a rehearsal of the operetta "Bulbul!" The class has rivals ri-vals of Mary Garden and Caruso. The public will realize what a class can really do when the Juniors present their operetta. The Prom well anticipate until we meet you at Berthana in May. The Juniors are the best class in the school, only of course the others won't admit it because each class thinks thai it is it |
