Edmund Browning, passed through Ogden last Monday for San Antonio, Texas, where he will go to Fort Sam Houston to train in the regular signal service section of the aviation corps. ; Mr. Browning was In charge of his company, which consisted of thirty-seven thirty-seven men. drawn from different parts of Utah and Idaho. Wheeler, Miss Vera Wheeler and Miss Vera Leavitt entertained a number ol friends at the Wheeler home, 100 West Second streeL The event was planned as a farewell for Lieutenant Leavltt who left Friday Fri-day for American Lake, Wash. The evening was joyously spent and refreshments were served. Those present were: Misses Margaret Hanley, Marv Bo-lander, Bo-lander, Vinnie Price, Anna Bolander, Alice Stone. Meda Stone. Rubv Salt, Edna Olsen, Verna Wheeler and Vera Leavltt; Messrs. Clarence Bramwell, Harold Bramwell, Arthur Moore, Albert Al-bert Leavitt. Mesdames Claude Wheeler, Wheel-er, Earl Wheeler, W. J. Douglass, Jack Way, J. A. Rostan, J.-Leavltt and J. W. Wheeler. GUESTS AT M'INTYRE'S HOME. Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Mclntyro have had with them during tho last week, Mrs. Mclntyre's mother, Mrs. S. A. Wheeler and her son, S. M. Wheeler. They motored from Omaha and following follow-ing their stay here left Thursday for a tour of Yellowstone park. The Mc-Intyro's Mc-Intyro's also entertained Mr. and Mrs. Grant Mclntyre over the last week end. They motored here from San Bernardino, Bernar-dino, Cal., returning Thursday. VISITED IN OGDEN. Mrs. Charles A. Henry, who has spent the mid-summer months in San Francisco, with friends, returned to Salt Lako recently and on Friday sho came up to be the guest for a few" days of Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Gentsch. INTERESTING FOLKS FROM EAST. Mrs. R. P. Hunter has been entertaining enter-taining some interesting friends from Lexington. Nob. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Faggot, their son. Forrest, and daugh-tor, daugh-tor, Joy. They motored from Lexington Lexing-ton over the Lincoln highway and before be-fore returning home will tour the west. ENTERTAINING HER MOTHER Mrs. Arthur Fell Jr. has her mother. moth-er. Mrs. Elizabeth H. Melcer, with her in tho canyon until they leave together to-gether about September 1 for an eastern east-ern trip. Mrs. Melcer is from San Francisco and before returning to the western coast will visit many eastern points of interest, Boston, New York and the national capital. IN NEVADA. Miss Florenco Bohn Is visiting with Mrs. Archie Bowman and Miss Verna Bowman on the ranch in Nevada. RETURN TO OGDEN. Mrs. Barnard J. White accompanied by her daughter, Ruth, returned early in the week from Cache valley, where they were the guests of relatives. MRS. SHREEVE HOSTESS. Mrs. S. A. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Scampton who are house guests of Dean and Mrs. Fleetwood for the summer in Salt Lake, came up last week to tho Fleetwood's Fleet-wood's summer home whero they en-loyed en-loyed tho luxuries of country lire.
