Show oo ATTEMPT TO HECKLE BAMBERGER FAILS Tooele, Oct. 17. An attempt to heckle hec-kle Simon Bamberger by questions on prohibition at a big Democratic rally here tonight resulted in a big laugh at the expense of L. A. McBride, Republican Re-publican county chairman. Mr. Bamberger dwelt at length on the prohibition question and In the middle of his discourse Chairman McBride Mc-Bride asked: "What would you do if the legislature passed a non-effective prohibition bill?" Without the slightest hesitation Mr. Bamberger replied: "I would haye the bill examined by competent attorneys. at-torneys. If it was not effective I would return it to the legislature with the recommendation that it be changed so that It would bo effective. effec-tive. If the legisature declined to lake further action I would sign the bill and let the members of the legislature legis-lature return home to face their constituents." con-stituents."
