Show SISTER OF MRS. PRATT ON STAND Woman Is Bitter Enemy of Chief Sebastian's Alleged Paramour Officer Wrote Daily Letters. Los Angeles. April 28 Mrs. Martha Olivera, who although a sister, has been characterized by Mrs. Lillie Pratt as a bitter enemy, went upon the stand as a witness for the prosecution prose-cution yesterday in tho trial of Mrs. Pratt and Charles F. Sebastian, suspended sus-pended chief of police, who are charged charg-ed with having contributed to the dependency de-pendency of Edith Sorkin, the 17-year-old lialf sister of the two women. Mrs Olivera first identified Sebastian Sebas-tian as the man she had seen meet Mrs. Pratt and go automobile riding with her last August Then she proceeded pro-ceeded to detail other occurrences, conversations, and incidents which were brought out by the prosecution with the avowed purpose not only to strengthen the story of Miss Serkin relative to trysts at an apartment next to police headquarters, but to forestall an anticipated attempt of the 1 defense to prove that Mrs. Pratt, who is alleged to have led the girl into the arms of Sebastian, had only a slight acquaintance with the accused ! police official.
