Two new records rec-ords wero set in the Middle West Bowling association tournament that closed here today, both of which were made by Chicago teams. 1 The Rubins rollod 2,955, 46 pins better bet-ter than tho Old Middlo West Standard Stand-ard five-men team. Ehlman and Lea totaled 1,269, 7 pins more than the former for-mer doubles high mark mado in 1911 by Collier and Flennor, also of Chicago. Chi-cago. The Rubinis took first prize, $250, and five gold medals. The Martin Fell-hauers, Fell-hauers, St. Louis, w it'll 2,9-13, took second sec-ond prize, also $250, Tho .Matt Blaus "Dorts, Milwaukee, with 2,911, won third prize, 200; the EdelweisB Brucks, Chicago, with 2,890, fourth prize, $175; and' the Jefferson.";, Chicago, Chi-cago, with 2,882, fifth prize, ?150. The Snydcrs, Minneapolis, and the Little Bohemias, Chicago, tied for sixth with 2,863. Both teams will recolve $145. Ehlman and Lea, Chicago, with 1,269, won first prize in the doubles event, $135, and were awarded gold medals. Hradek and Danck, Chicago, with 1,236, took second prize, also $135; Raydl and Shaw, Chicago, with 1,225, third prize, $125; Dottwellr and IJAtJii, St, Louis, with 1,220, fourth prize, SilO; Wehrli and Schaefer, St. LouiB, with 1,197, fifth prize, $100; Tindell and Neuman, Peoria, with 1,196, sixth prize, $90. |
