Show WELSH-WHITE BOUT WILL BE STAGED Colorado Springs, Colo., Aug. 29. "No matter what comes of the railway rail-way situation, the Welsh-White lightweight light-weight championship battle will be fought on Monday afternoon, September Septem-ber 4, as originally scheduled." This statement was made today by Edward Pitts, who Is managing the contest, after a number of conferences with the managers of the rival boxers. This statement brought out the fact never in the history of big fights in this country will so many automobiles automo-biles pour into this city as are expected ex-pected trom all points within a radius of 200 miles. Denver, Pueblo and Cheyenne are the largest centers, while scores of towns with populations of 3000 to 10,000 persons will swell the quota. The sporting fraternity anticipated any trouble by organizing automobile parties. They had paid cash for their tickets and are coming. The principal streets of the city already al-ready are crowded with machines, their occupants availing of the opportunity oppor-tunity to visit the many scenic attractions attrac-tions of the vicinity. Both Welsh and White went through their usual training routine during the afternoon before good crowds. Many women are regular at tendants and appear to take as much Interest in the fighters as the men. oo Pressing a lever projects a slide down the tines of a new cold meat fork to remove its contents neatly. oo f An international live stock exposi- j tion will be held In Argentina this i summer.
