This Is ouly a roundabout way of expressing a desire to have thc Japanese Jap-anese attack the United States. This hatred for Americans Is difficult diffi-cult to understand. This count ry cannot side with Germany nor yet take up the cause of the allies, and. thouch the United States has held strictly to a position of neutrality, we arc being berated. But the proper course to pursue is to continue to observe neutrality, recognizing the fact that tho hot words riirectpd'at us are prompted by a misunderstanding of America's real attitude. |
